Blessed George Napier has again achieved Gold in the School Games Mark 2024-25.  This is the third year in a row we have achieved Gold.     Well done to our PE team in providing numerous opportunities for our students to participate, taking part in competitions and developing leadership skills through Sport and Physical Activity.

The School Games Mark is a Government-led award scheme launched in 2012, facilitated by the Youth Sport Trust to reward schools for their commitment to the development of competitions across their school and into the community. We are delighted to have been recognised for our success.

As part of our application, we were asked to fulfil criteria in the areas of participation, competition, workforce and clubs. 

Thank you to everyone at BGN for supporting and encouraging our students to take part in Physical Activity, Sport and Leadership.

Unfortunately, due to a major water leak in the Banbury Town Centre that is affecting the area, the school no longer has water on site.  Therefore we will have to close the school to pupils as it is not safe.  We will have a phased departure, beginning with Years 13, 12 and 11.  We will also arrange for the buses to collect pupils early.

Your child will need to be collected or allowed to walk home AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.  If there is a reason why they cannot be dismissed please click on the below link and report to reception to collect your child as soon as possible.  Pupils will begin to be dismissed at 12.45pm.
