The water supply to the school has now been restored and BGN will be open as normal to all pupils tomorrow, Thursday 11 September 2025. Thank you for your understanding in this matter.

Read MoreEmergency Closure
Published 10/09/25Unfortunately, due to a major water leak in the Banbury Town Centre that is affecting the area, the school no longer has water on site. Therefore we will have to close the school to pupils as it is not safe. We will have a phased departure, beginning with Years 13, 12 and 11. We will also arrange for the buses to collect pupils early.
Your child will need to be collected or allowed to walk home AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. If there is a reason why they cannot be dismissed please click on the below link and report to reception to collect your child as soon as possible. Pupils will begin to be dismissed at 12.45pm.
