We congratulate all our Year 13 students, over three quarters of whom achieved A* to C in all their A Levels and are now moving on to top universities to study a wide range of degree courses including architecture, computer science, fashion, film, languages, history, maths and law.  We are particularly delighted that 54% of grades achieved were B or above.  Robert Napiorkowski gained an A*, A* A and Distinction Star, Ella Shawyer obtained A*, A, Distinction Star and Charlotte Riley achieved A*, A, A and will go on to study veterinary medicine and surgery.  We are also really pleased with our interim AS grades for Year 12: 70% of the year group are already achieving grades of C or above with another year to go.      Headline figures:    A*-B   54% -   A*-C   78%  -    A*-E   98%.

Congratulations to our Year 11s who have achieved wonderful results in their GCSEs this year.   72% of our pupils gained A*-C in English and Maths, with 67% gaining five GCSEs including English and Maths at A*-C.  Well done to all our students and the staff that support them for these tremendous results.  The progress of this year's Year 11 is excellent.  There are many individual success stories with a number of students gaining As and A*s.

  • Mobile phones in school

    Published 26/05/16

We recognise that mobile phones provide more than just an opportunity for our students and their parents to contact each other on the way to and from school. Whilst in school our expectations policy states that

Students in Years 7-11 with mobile phones must not use them in school, unless requested to do so by a member of staff. These items must be kept switched off and out of sight in school bags.   Sixth form students are permitted to use their mobile phones in the common room.

Please be aware that any urgent communication between you and your child should take place via reception. The school number is 01295 264216.
