Fundraising for school building
A couple of sample letters sent by the pupils to help raise money for the school building fund:
Dear Eric Idle
You might wonder why a twelve year old boy from Banbury is writing to you. Unless it`s to tell you just how funny you are and how brilliant Monty Python is. Well, you are funny and the programmes are amazing but there is more to my letter than that. Quite simply I need your help!
I am a pupil of Blessed George Napier School and I am writing to you because we need your help to raise money for our school. I would be grateful if you could donate a photograph with your signature. I am a very big fan of yours because you make me laugh like no other comedian.
Thank you for taking the time to read my letter. If you are in need of a new assistant for the next programme I can be ready for an audtion any day!
