Choices and Consequences
Our local fire service presented a performance aimed to inform teenagers about the dangers of drink driving. These hard hitting images really make pupils consider the consequences of alcohol and driving recklessly. Generally the impact of the pictures is to have total silence.
The programme also shows how a teenager has lived with the effects of bad driving. This is exceptionally sad, but also illustrates ones determination to survive. Again, peer pressure is a major factor in teenage accidents. Unfortunately, they generally involve an innocent person.
