As part of our ongoing drive to bring the Joy of Science to all, we have launched our Science Club, to great acclaim. Our first club meet involved being able to investigate the laminar flow properties of air over shaped objects in front of candle flames. Subsequent ones have studied animal organs, some Doctor Who related activities involving making a sonic transducer, a thrilling study and display of fire writing, some bouncy balls made of custard and a competition to see how far the students could make rockets fly!
Forthcoming events include uncovering the `invisibles` in pond water and the destructive powers of custard!
Keep your eyes peeled!
