Rewards

• You will receive praise and recognition for effort in work and behaviour
• House Points will be given for effort in work and behaviour over half a term
• 10 House Points will result in a Good Referral
• 3 Good Referrals will result in a letter of Commendation
• 3 letters of Commendation will result in a Head of School Certificate
• 6 letters of Commendation will result in a Head Teacher's award
• Your record of achievement will remind you of how you are doing

Sanctions

• Informal warning
• Formal warning with a senior member of staff
• Lunchtime detention
• After school detention and parents informed
• Short time isolation in a designated area, parents are informed
• Longer term isolation including break times, parents are asked to come into school
• Parents may be asked to collect their child and supervise him or her in the lunch time
• Possible ban from school transport
• Fixed term exclusion
• Placement on Pupil Support Programme
• Placement at pupil referral unit
• If all else fails, permanent exclusion
• The sanctions used will depend on the nature of the offence
